There are two methods to check our journal holdings.

First, many are available in our Discovery search which can be accessed using the following steps:

  1. From the library home page, select ‘Advanced Search’ above the search box.
  2. Enter the journal title in the second search box, on the same line as the Title (ti:) search index.
  3. Scroll down to the 'Filter by' section. In the Format pull-down menu select 'Journal, Magazine'.
  4. Scroll down to select the Search button.
  5. Journals available in print will show Trevecca's holdings in the Main Periodicals. If the journal is available online you will see an 'Access journal' button.

A second method, only relevant for electronic journals, is the following:

  1. On the library home page, go to Find Information in the top menu and select 'E-journals by title'.
  2. Enter the journal title in the first search box and select the Search button.
  3. Select the correct title from the list (note there are sometimes multiple entries, so check all of them).
  4. On the results screen, one or more listings will appear, showing the database collection(s) containing the journal. Note the coverage dates for each listing.
  5. Select a journal title link to access the content.
